Since our beginnings in 1904, whether we are volunteering, coaching youth sports, sitting on non-profit boards, or running this program, non-profits are very close to our hearts. It is very important for us to represent insurance companies that have the knowledge and experience with insuring the unique exposures of non-profit organization. We know how important they are to the people in our communities.
That is why we are excited for our 7th annual Operation Giveback campaign. Beginning in 2015, we made a goal to shine a brighter light on our local non-profits and charity organizations. With the help of our generous donors, Auto-Owners Insurance, Hanover Insurance, Hastings Mutual, Safeco Insurance, Selective Insurance, and Western Reserve Group, we have given over $15,000 to over 30 local non-profits and charity organizations!
These non-profit businesses and organizations have challenges that are unique to their own. Fundraising, applying for grants, and recruiting volunteers are just a few examples of what goes into running a successful organization. These reasons were the driving force behind starting this program.
Recipients are selected by way of voting on our website, www.stolly.com, and social media platforms. People can nominate and vote for their favorite local non-profit and charity organization. Since 2015 over 45,000 votes have been submitted. We have been blessed to have the platform offer these deserving organizations a token of appreciation, and provide awareness to their causes.
